CG-Lock Neon locks up its fourth consecutive Regional Championship
With a first place finish at the season ending Central New York Region SCCA event in Syracuse, NY, Derek Wyman locked up his fourth Regional Championship in four years.
For the 2005 season, Derek topped the Street Touring Class and finished in the top ten overall. Competition was tight this year, with three drivers having a shot at the season title going into the last event. In the end, only one point separated the CG-Lock Neon driver from the second place finisher, Peter Hirschey (Subaru Imprezza). John Sayer finished third in his Dodge Neon and will certainly be a strong contender for the 2006 title.
