CG-Lock Neon takes first National win at Ft. Devens
Congratulations to Michael Occhipinti for his first National win! Michael took first place in the STS class at the SCCA National Tour event in Ayer, Ma.
The victory marked Michael’s first National win and the first non-Honda win on the 2006 SCCA National Tour.

The STS class was the largest class in attendance with 22 drivers competing in challenging conditions. Saturday saw non-stop rain, wind and cold, but also found the top of the class trading positions after every run.
On Sunday, the weather improved and so did the competition. Michael got faster on each run and ended up with a convincing 0.5 second victory over runner up Jeff Hurst in a Toyota Celica.
The win ended a run of Honda victories dating back to last June, when Corey Ridgick took home the gold in a silver Subaru Impreza. Corey, who missed the event at Ft. Devens, will join the rest of the Northeast’s best STS drivers at the Northeast Divisionals in Upstate NY next month.
