The line between various genres of music is so blurred now it is infuriating. It was easy to see it coming, like back a decade when country singles started appearing on pop stations. But really, it has to be the Music Industry controlling how we think again, right? (after all, it isn’t anything new) But honestly, how stupid are we as a country, when we perpetually let the music industry manufacture a group, manufacture their music, control when/how it gets played, and then fill their pockets with money! American Idol is merely a microcosm of it. We are just a herd of frigging cattle. Moo.

Today is definitely a quote sort of day. And it has to be one of the home-cooked variety.
It is long, so it isn’t really quotable I suppose. And not only that but the verb/pronoun tenses do not agree. But I don’t care! The point is merely to read and recognise the intent.
“Why must some people refuse to allow themselves to be happy? Their subconscious surreptitiously sabotages any attempt to obtain said happiness. Eventually, in hindsight, an epiphany occurs. But, by then, it is too late. Instead of experiencing the veritable utopia that was right in front of the person, he or she is instead tortured ad nauseum by an opportunity lost.”
I regretfully watched the 3rd and final governor debate on TV last evening. It was grating, at best, and by the end I was seeking mental comfort food in the form of an E! True Hollywood Story or an episode of NEXT!

I would like to come up with some seemingly regular schedule to post here. However, my indecisiveness (more on this in future posts I am sure) seems to propel my life into seeming chaos. This precludes me from signing up to any sort of Metamucil like regularity.
I mentioned that I would like to use this space to share some of my favourite quotes. There will be no order to them, just what I feel is a good quote du jour. Some will be my own creation; this one is not.
