It is especially awkward when you have a "chewy" piece that you cannot bite in half and you end up sucking the fish off the top of the piece and just have rice left. I do prefer too large to places that try to be trendy and serve tiny pieces and charge more (I'm looking at you, Jenkinson's in Pt. Pleasant). Eh, I am somewhat indifferent to sashimi. I could get in to it I suppose, but not with as broad a range of fish. I prefer the rice if given a choice. Yeah – I refuse to halve them myself.
